The Good Life Club was a federally funded initiative aimed at Chronic disease self management.
It was run by a consortium of agencies including Community Health Centre, GPs, Hospital and the CHFA
The Good Life Club focussed on people over 50 at risk of Diabetes and heart disease, and provided an intensive and varied program of services for them.
In 2006, CHFA were able to offer "Better Health Self Management" courses to Chinese people, the first in Australia that we know of.
The Good Life Club still continues as part of our seniors program, where people participate in a range of preventative activities
